My Lockdown Story – Apeji Victor (Agabzy)

A Lockdown Story

By: Apeji Victor

No going to work, hanging out with friends and religious gatherings.

I couldn’t believe this was really happening, but then I realized we (humans) have a great gift and that is ‘adaptability’.

The lockdown was a period of learning, networking, reflecting, and restrategizing for me.

I realized our survival as humans depends on us. We are all various pieces in a puzzle.
A celebrity is irrelevant without fans.
A preacher is irrelevant without a congregation.
A boss is irrelevant without employees.
An entertainer is irrelevant without an audience.

The world doesn’t revolve around you, you are just a piece in the puzzle.

COVID-19 made me slow down, evaluate my life in quality not in activities.

A Note From Eden: Dear Agabzy,
You are beautiful! This is not a mere metaphorical statement. Beyond the beauty written all over your lockdown story (even in its brevity), beautiful is how you effortlessly stir humor within hearts and minds. The best medicine for a time like this. Beautiful is how your thought pattern is designed. Beautiful is the aura of your resplendence. Beautiful, is you and the brilliance you possess, inside out. All these are made evident in how you see a ‘BIG PICTURE’ in little things that matter. Thanks for sharing your truth with us at Express-Shun. The world is dark enough. Continue to shine the light that you are.

Much love!!

So true, we are all connected in various ways and we need each other. The faster we realize this the better!

I love the fact that the celebrities and public figures are all in this together. Many times certain storms of life are only felt by a little section but in this case, one way or the other we all feel it. This in itself is a big lesson for all regardless of our race, religion or status
